Mohamed & Hannah Ahmad

Guest Teacher Mohamed Ahmad has been studying Vipassana (Insight) meditation since 2010. Of Lebanese origin, he was born and spent most of his childhood in Africa, then resided in Belgium. Mohamed speaks English, French and Arabic.
Guest Teacher Hannah is originally from Kent, England and began studying Vipassana in January 2012. Since discovering this unique method of meditation, they have lived, trained and worked at the Northern Vipassana International Meditation Centre in Thailand.

In March 2013 and October 2014, following extensive practise, study and training with senior disciples and head teachers, Khun Thanat and Khun Kathryn Chindaporn, Mohamed and Hannah were certified to teach Vipassana, receiving certification, authorization and blessing directly from The Late Venerable Phra Prom Mongkol Vi ( Ven. Phra Ajarn Tong Sirimangalo).

 Conferred by the Government of Chiang Mai Province, in recognition of their service to the dissemination of Buddhism.

‘Diamond' Award

Conferred by The Venerable Phra Prom Mongkol Vi (Ven. Ajarn Tong Sirimangalo) in recognition of their service to the dissemination of Vipassana Meditation.

may 2021

The certificate of Honor

In May 2021, they received the ‘Certificate of Honor’ conferred by The Ven. Phra Thep Pariyati, the Ecclesiastical Provincial Chief of Chiang Mai Province.

April 2023

The ‘Sema Dhammakka' Award

Conferred by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand – in recognition of international dissemination of the Dhamma .

 Together, they have taught Vipassana courses in Thailand, France, Egypt and Germany and are delighted to share this invaluable and ancient technique in Correze.
